Directorate of Research and Public Services - Universitas Islam Indonesia, Yogyakarta will host the Annual Workshop of International Journals Writing 2012 to be held on 18-19 June 2012. Here's more information:

In general, journal and academic publications can be said as an international if: they are written in one of United Nation languages to have a wide coverage of readers; and writing the articles that containing real contribution to the development of knowledge disciplinary which is interested by many scientists over the world. The publications are conducted openly by editors across the world, or at least every article composed by international experts through a review by world smart partners. Article contributors originated from various countries that have highly skilled experts' boards in writing. Hence, it becomes one of the global publication because it subscribed by various organizations and experts from various countries who are interested in knowledge disciplinary. The low academic publishing of lecturers at universities in Indonesia is alleged to be caused by low ability or low motivation to write the research findings in academic journals of international repute. In despite of the competitive research schemes funded by Higher Education clearly require studies output in the term of scholarly publications in journals of international repute. The lecturers and researchers need to do more practices regarding writing the academic article for international publications. Therefore, this workshop held as a platform to encourage them to publish their finding researches at international journal. Hopefully, it may benefit them definitely.
